lovaliss's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

claiming/owning = exempt

It is a very humanistic desire to want to "own things."

If we were more honest with ourselves we would realize it is impossible and against the universal natural law to own or claim anything...including people, friendships, relationships...

I am beginning to think that most of our actions are so because we are trying to keep or obtain something in the first place. But we can't...ever...do you get it!!!! We can never own ANYTHING.

Posessions are gone the second we die.

People can decide to go away.

I thought of this because I was thinking about polygamy and that I don't so much have a problem with the relationship of polygamy so much as I do with the element of sex and polygamy.

Somehow that connected to how we as humans want to claim things as "ours". We want to classify and secure what we value.

It's a ridiculous thing we do.
