It is as short as my hair line, then goes slightly longer at my ears. I keep it kind of messily tucked behind my ears to conceal the fact that the front is still a little shorter and in a "growing out" phase. I pin it to the side a lot with a side part. It is the most conservative hair style I've had in the last two years.
